Original digital illustration of Freddie Mercury
In honor of the 42nd anniversary of the release of the song off the 1977 Queen album News of the World, ‘Spread Your Wings,’ I decided to draw this in its honor. And of course I had to draw Freddie wearing his iconic harlequin stage costume from that tour.
This song is one of my all time favorite Queen songs and one that has a lot of special personal meaning for me. And now that I have this drawing, I can share a little bit of that special with you all as well.
