"I decided to name this piece 'Three Chords' because Freddie, despite his musical and vocal range, only knew three chords on the guitar. He actually composed 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' on the guitar, from the bath tub, in just 10 minutes, and he would play it live using just those three chords. Freddie recalled on its composition in knowing only a few chords that, 'It's a good discipline because I simply had to write within a small framework. I couldn't work through too many chords and because of that restriction I wrote a good song, I think.' I found that inspiring, that despite your limits, you can find a way to use them to your advantage and ultimately create something beautiful that supersedes those limits." - Christina Rick
